Paul Mccobb
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, in 1917, Paul McCobb had an interest in art from an early age. Inspired by classical forms, Paul McCobb furniture was designed to be functional and approachable. He is best known for his Planner Series—a moderately-priced collection that became one of the most popular furniture lines of the 1950s. The series remained in production until 1964. In addition to his coveted chairs and furniture, McCobb designed glassware, watches, clocks, ceramics, wallpaper, and typewriters for Remington.
